Filtering Alerts

The Alerts section in the Regology platform offers various filters to help users refine their search and manage alerts effectively. Below is a detailed description of each available filter.

Search

Search by keywords in the alert title and description.

Alert Category

Filter by alert type: Agency Updates, Bills, or Regulatory Changes.

Impact Assessment Status

Filter by the status of an associated impact assessment (e.g., New, In Process, Closed).

Impact Level

Filter by the level of impact on regulatory compliance or internal policies.

Only Show Alerts

Filter based on specific conditions, such as alerts with or without an impact assessment.

Workflow Status

Filter by the alert's current workflow status (e.g., Unread, In Process).

Document Status

Filter by the status of the associated document (e.g., Became Law, Rule, Introduced).

Reggi Relevance

Filter by Reggi's relevance assessment for each alert.

Alert Owner

Filter by the user or team responsible for the alert.

Impact Assessment Owner

Filter by the owner assigned to the associated impact assessment.

Published Date

Filter by the date the alert was published.

Created Date

Filter by the date the alert was created in the system.

Agency

Filter by the regulatory agency that issued the alert.

Agency Feed

Filter by a specific feed or source within an agency (e.g., a bulletin, rulemaking, or enforcement action).

Authority Document

Filter by whether the alert is linked to an official regulatory document (e.g., statutes, regulations, guidelines).

Corpus

Filter by the document corpus the alert belongs to.

Jurisdiction

Filter by geographical or legal jurisdiction (e.g., U.S. Federal, California, EU).

Master Data

Filter by structured master data categories such as industry classifications, entities, or compliance areas.

Sort Order

Allows you to sort alerts based on criteria such as the published date or Reggi relevance (in ascending or descending order). This feature works independently of applied filters, meaning you can refine alerts using filters while also organizing them in a specific order to suit your needs.

More Filters

Provides an option to filter only Open Alerts or Open Impact Assessments.

How to Apply Filters

  1. Click on the Filters button in the Alerts section.

  2. Select the relevant filter(s) from the dropdown menu.

  3. Adjust the filter criteria as needed.

  4. View the filtered results in the alerts list.

Note: At the top of the page, the count of applied filters will be displayed, helping users track active filters.

Resetting Filters

Users can reset applied filters by clicking on the Reset option next to specific filters.

Saving a View for Alerts

  1. Apply filters to display relevant Alerts.

  2. Click Save to View.

  3. Provide a name for the saved view.

  4. The saved view appears as a separate tab for easy access.

  5. Click Cancel at any time to discard unsaved changes.

Note: Saved views are available only on the Regology-delivered "All Alerts" view.
