Alert Summary Section 

The Alert Summary provides key details about an alert, allowing users to understand its relevance at a glance.

Key Fields in Alert Summary:

At the top of the alert modal, users can access View Document, Pagination (up to 50 alerts per page), Citation, and Link for quick reference and navigation.

Alert Summary Fields

  • Severity: Indicates the importance of the alert using a color-coded priority system.

    • Red – Very High / High

    • Orange – Medium

    • Blue – Low / Very Low

  • Owner: Displays who is responsible for handling the alert. By default, it may be unassigned.

  • Doc Status: Categorizes the document type, such as Publications/Communications.

  • Published Date: Shows when the alert was published.

  • Agency: Specifies the regulatory body or organization issuing the alert.

  • Alert Reason: Explains why the alert was generated, providing context based on the alert category and its relevance

  • Reggi Relevance: Highlights how relevant the alert is to your organization based on Reggi’s analysis, helping prioritize critical updates.

  • Comments & History:

    • Comments: Allows users to leave notes or discuss the alert internally.

    • History: Provides a log of changes and interactions related to the alert.

Navigation Tip: The Workflow Status dropdown allows users to mark the alert as read or unread for tracking purposes.

Alert Synopsis Section

The Alert Synopsis provides additional context about the alert, offering a concise summary and direct access to the source document.

Key Details in Alert Synopsis:

  • Alert Title: Displays the title of the alert.

  • Feed Name: Specifies the subscribed feed that triggered the alert (applicable only to feed alerts in the Agency Updates category, e.g., Securities and Exchange Commission – Speeches & Statements).

  • Description: A brief summary of the document or update, giving users a high-level understanding of its content.

  • Source Link: Provides a direct URL to the original document for further review.

  • Bill Progression Chart: For bill alerts, a visual chart is included to show the bill's progression through legislative stages.

Navigation Tip: Click the title, source link, or View Document to open the full document for deeper analysis.

How to Use These Sections Effectively

  1. Assess Severity Quickly: Prioritize alerts based on their severity level.

  2. Review the Summary: Check the alert reason, document status, and publication date to determine relevance.

  3. Refer to the Synopsis: Read the description and access the source link for more details.

  4. Utilize Comments & History: Collaborate with your team by adding comments or checking previous interactions with the alert.

By understanding these sections, users can efficiently manage and respond to regulatory updates in Regology’s system.
