Creating an Annotation / Comment

Overview

Regology enables you to collaborate with other users over Authoritative Documents, Controls, or Risks through Annotations/Comments.
To create an Annotation/Comment:

  1. For an Authoritative Document, open an Authoritative Document and highlight the area of the Authoritative Document where you want to leave a comment.
    The icons that enable you to add comments appear to the right of the selection:

  2. For Risks and Controls, click the Add Comment icon in the right panel of a Risk or Control details view.

  3. Click the Add Comment icon to add a comment.
    The Review dialog appears:

  4. To assign the comment to a user, type + followed by the username. 

  5. Select the required username from the suggestions.

  6. Select Assign to <username>. You can add as many users as you want.

  7. Optionally, you can select a due date for the comment.

  8. Click Save.
    The comment is now displayed in the Tasks view of the landing page.

A task is created only when an annotation/comment is assigned to a specific user.
